Moto3 | Silverstone GP Qualifying: Moreira takes pole as a rookie, Rossi is fourth
The Brazilian driver beat Guevara and Yamanaka
Moto3 British GP Qualifying – Diogo Moreira wins the pole of the Moto3 class British Grand Prix, 12th stage of the 2022 MotoGP world championship.
The Team MT rider on the KTM set the best time with a time of 2:10.951, ahead of Izan Guevara (Aspar) and Ryusei Yamanaka (MT) who were respectively 0.068s and 0.078s behind.
The two standard-bearers, Riccardo Rossi (Sic 58 Squadra Corse) and Stefano Nepa, fourth and fifth, will start from the second row, preceding Deniz Oncu (KTM Tech3).
Seventh time for Dennis Foggia (Leopard) ahead of teammate Tatsuki Suzuki and Ayumu Sasaki (Max Racing Team). John McPhee (Max Racing Team) completes the top ten. Andrea Migno (Snipers) is out of the ten and will start 13th.
Elia Bartolini (Avintia), Nicola Carraro (Avintia) and Alberto Surra (Snipers) did not pass the Q1 trap and will start from 23rd, 25th and 27th place.
