Four Italians in the Top Ten of FP1 at Misano 2
Moto3 GP Misano GP Nolan of Made in Italy and Emilia-Romagna Free Practice 1 – The Moto3 class riders took to the track with rain tires in the first free practice session at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, where the sixteenth stage of the 2021 MotoGP World Championship is scheduled for Sunday.
The fastest in the wet was Andrea Migno, who took the Team Snipers Honda to the top with a time of 1:52.529, a time that allowed him to precede team-mate Alberto Surra by 0.278s.
Third time for Filip Salac (KTM Pruestel GP) and fourth for Mario Aji, debuting on the Team Asia Honda. Izan Guevara, winner in Austin, took the GasGas of Team Aspar to fifth position, ahead of Andi Farid Izdihar (Honda Team Asia) and Kaito Toba (KTM CIP).
Closing out the Top Ten are Stefano Nepa (KTM BOE), Lorenzo Fellon (Honda SIC58 Squadra Corse) and Niccolò Antonelli (KTM Avintia).
The other Italian riders are: Riccardo Rossi (KTM BOE) 20th and Romano Fenati (Husqvarna Max Racing Team) 25th.
The two title contenders, Pedro Acosta (leader of the world championship with a 30 point advantage) and Dennis Foggia are in 15th and 17th position respectively.
