Moto3 | GP Jerez Warm Up: Tatay in command, Fenati is fourth
Seventh and twelfth times for Niccolò Antonelli and Andrea Migno
Moto3 GP Spain Jerez Warm Up – Carlos Tatay was the fastest in the warm up of the Moto3 class Spanish Grand Prix, scheduled today at 11:00 in Jerez, a circuit named after the late Angel Nieto.
The Team Avintia rider stopped the clock at a time of 1:46.514 and preceded Darryn Binder on Honda Petronas and the rookie Pedro Acosta, KTM Red Bull Ajo, separated by 0.190s and 0.206s respectively.
Fourth time for our Romano Fenati, who on the Max Racing Team Husqvarna put himself behind three KTMs, those of the Team Tech 3 of the Turk Deniz Oncu and the Japanese Ayumu Sasaki and that of the Team Avintia of his compatriot Niccolò Antonelli.
Closing out the Top Ten are Gabriel Rodrigo (Honda Gresini), Sergio Garcia (Gas Gas Aspar) and Jaume Masia (KTM Red Bull Ajo). Andrea Migno (Honda Snipers) recorded the 12th time, Dennis Foggia (Honda Leopard) the 15th, Stefano Nepa (KTM BOE) the 16th and Riccardo Rossi the 24th.
Alcoba, Fernandez, Fellon, Foggia and Rossi were penalized for "irresponsible driving" on probation. The first two with a double long lap penalty, the others with a long lap penalty.
