Moto3 | Jerez Test Day 3: Ogura the fastest, the Italians behind
The Japanese driver was also the best of the three-day test
Moto3 World Championship Test Jerez – The third and final day of testing of the Moto3 class in Jerez de la Frontera ended in the name of Ai Ogura (Honda Team Asia).
The Japanese driver recorded the best performance of the day with a time of 1:44.670, a time that allowed him to beat his brand mate John McPhee by just 50 thousandths.
Third time, fourth and fifth time for three other Hondas, that of Gabriel Rodrigo's Team Gresini, Tatsuki Suzuki's Team SIC58 Squadra Corse and that of Sergio Garcia's Team Estrella Galicia 0,0.
The first KTM is that of Raul Fernandez (Red Bull KTM Ajo), seventh and ahead of his brand mate Albert Arenas (Team Aspar). Closing out the Top Ten are Yuki Kunii's Honda (Honda Team Asia), Filip Salac's Team Snipers and Deniz Oncu's KTM of Team Red Bull KTM Tech3.
Back to the Italians: The best is Dennis Foggia; the Leopard Racing rider is thirteenth and ahead of the KTM of Andrea Migno's Sky Racing Team VR46 and the Honda of Tony Arbolino's Team Snipers.
Stefano Nepa (KTM Team Aspar) and Celestino Vietti (KTM Sky Racing Team VR46) occupy seventeenth and eighteenth place, while Davide Pizzoli (BOE Skull Rider Facile.Energy), Romano Fenati (Sterilgarda Max Racing Team) and Riccardo Rossi (BOE Skull Rider Facile.Energy) are respectively in twenty-third, twenty-fifth and twenty-eighth position.
