Moto3 | GP Valencia 2 Race: Arbolino triumphs and relaunches himself for the title

Moto3 GP Valencia 2 Race – Tony Arbolino wins the Valencia Grand Prix, penultimate stage of the 2020 Moto3 class MotoGP.

Raul Fernandez, exactly like a week ago in the early stages of the race, manages to dig a small gap from his pursuers, but unlike 7 days ago, with 5 laps to go, the pursuers: Tony Arbolino (Snipers) and Sergio Garcia (Estrella Garcia ), they manage to get in the Spaniard's wake. With two laps to go the Italian driver breaks the deadlock by taking the lead of the race and crossing the finish line first, taking his first victory of the season. Behind him, Garcia manages to outwit Fernandez to take second place.

Albert Arenas (Aspar) finishes in fourth position and remains at the top of the world rankings ahead of poleman Darryn Binder and Deniz Oncu (KTM Tech3). Good race for Andrea Migno (Sky Racing Team VR46) who finished seventh ahead of Ai Ogura (Honda Asia) and Jaume Masia (Leopard). John McPhee completes the top ten.

Out of the ten was Romano Fenati (Max Racing Team) who finished twelfth ahead of Stefano Nepa (Aspar) and Niccolò Antonelli (SIC58 Squadra Corse). Out of the points was Dennis Foggia (Leopard), who finished sixteenth. Only 24th was Celestino Vietti (Sky Racing Team VR46) who crashed in the early stages of the race.

The fight for the title is becoming increasingly closer. Albert Arenas remains at the top of the standings with 8 points ahead of Ogura, but watch out for Arbolino, who thanks to the victory has moved to just 11 points. Everything will be decided next week in Portiamo.
