Moto3 | GP Misano 2 FP3: Vietti in the lead, Fenati is third
McPhee, Arbolino and Antonelli forced to Q1
Moto3 GP Misano 2 Free Practice 3 – The third and final free practice session of the Moto3 class at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, where the Emilia Romagna and Riviera di Rimini Grand Prix is scheduled for Sunday (second consecutive race in Misano), saw Celestino Vietti achieve the best time with a time of 1:41.155, a new Moto3 record at Misano.
The Sky Racing Team VR46 rider preceded the Japanese of Team Honda Asia, Ai Ogura, by 0.398s and his compatriot Romano Fenati, riding the Husqvarna of the Max Racing Team, by 0.506s.
Raul Fernandez on the KTM of Team Red Bull Ajo is fourth, ahead of world leader Albert Arenas (KTM Aspar), our own Dennis Foggia (Honda Leopard) and Jeremy Alcoba (Honda Gresini).
Closing out the Top Ten are our Andrea Migno (Sky Racing Team VR46), Tatsuki Suzuki (Honda SIC58 Squadra Corse), and Ayumu Sasaki (KTM Tech 3).
Sergio Garcia (Honda Estrella Galicia 2), Barry Baltus (KTM PruestelGP), our Stefano Nepa (KTM Aspar) and Jaume Masia (Honda Leopard) also qualified for Q0,0.
They will have to pass through the Q1 trap, among others: the winner of Misano 1 John McPhee, Tony Arbolino (Honda Snipers), Niccolò Antonelli (Honda SIC58 Squadra Corse) and Davide Pizzoli (KTM BOE).
