Moto3 | Gp Le Mans FP1: Migno the fastest in the rain

Moto3 French GP Free Practice 1 – Weather protagonist in the first free practice session of the French Grand Prix, tenth stage of the cadet class Motorcycle World Championship.

The best time went to our Andrea Migno, who set the best lap on the KTM of the Sky Racing Team VR46 with a time of 1:54.810.

The next Team Honda Snipers rider preceded the British John McPhee (Honda Petronas) by 0.407s, who in turn preceded Albert Arenas, KTM Aspar rider, by 0.372s.

Filip Salac (Honda Snipers) is fourth and ahead of Raul Fernandez (KTM Red Bull Ajo), Jaume Masia (Honda Leopard), Sergio Garcia (Honda Estrella Galicia 0,0) and our Stefano Nepa (KTM Aspar). Closing out the Top Ten are Yuki Kunii (Honda Team Asia) and Kaito Toba (KTM Red Bull Ajo).

Romano Fenati riding the Husqvarna of the Max Racing Team is eleventh, while Dennis Foggia (Honda Leopard) and Celestino Vietti (Sky Racing Team VR46) occupy the sixteenth and eighteenth position.

There were many slips on the wet asphalt of Le Mans, with Alonso Lopez, Niccolò Antonelli, Tony Arbolino, Celestino Vietti (double fall), Ai Ogura, Raul Fernandez, Sergio Garcia, Gabriel Rodrigo and Stefano Nepa falling to the ground without consequences. The returning Tatsuki Suzuki (SIC58 Squadra Corse and recovering from a wrist fracture) who only completed one lap did not want to risk it.
