Moto3 | Silverstone GP FP1: Arbolino dominates, it's already a record

Moto3 British GP Silverstone Free Practice 1 – The first free practice session of the Moto3 class at Silverstone, scene of the British Grand Prix, the twelfth round of the 2019 MotoGP World Championship, saw the 31 riders take to the track with 16° in the air and 20 on the asphalt.

The fastest on a circuit that was completely resurfaced was Tony Arbolino, who took the Team Snipers Honda to the top of the time charts with a time of 2:12.008, a new record on the British circuit, which belonged to Jorge Navarro, who in 2015 had lapped in 2:12:440.

The #14 leads Kaito Toba (Honda) by almost seven tenths, exactly 0.674s and compatriot Lorenzo Dalla Porta by 0.685s.

Third and fourth times for the KTMs of Aron Canet and Andrea Migno, who preceded the Honda of Team Snipers of the winner of the Austrian Grand Prix Romano Fenati.

Followed by Alonso Lopez, Jakub Kornfeil, Jeremy Alcoba and Marcos Ramirez, who closes the Top Ten. Nineteenth and twentieth times for Celestino Vietti (KTM Sky Racing Team VR46) and Niccolò Antonelli (SIC58 Squadra Corse), while the session by Dennis Foggia (also he rider Sky Racing Team VR46) was "ruined" by Kazuki Masaki, who hit him in the initial stages.

Foggia finished twenty-third, Stefano Nepa and Riccardo Rossi occupied twenty-eighth and thirty-first place respectively.
