Moto3 | GP Brno Qualifying: Arbolino dominates in the rain [VIDEO]
The Snipers team driver celebrates his birthday with the second pole of the season, Antonelli on the front row
Moto3 GP Czech Republic Brno Qualifying – Tony Arbolino wins the pole of the Moto3 class Czech Republic Grand Prix, tenth stage of the 2019 MotoGP championship.
The Snipers team driver, on his 19th birthday, won his second pole of the season, fourth in his career, stopping the clock at 2:18.020 and edging out over 4 tenths of a second from John McPhee and eight from Niccolò Antonelli (SIC58 Squadra Corse) who complete the first row.
Fourth time for Tatsuki Suzuki (SIC58 Squadra Corse) ahead of Raul Fernandez and Aron Canet (Max Racing Team).
Makar Yurchenko opens the third row followed by Jaume Masia and Ai Ogura. Alonso Lopez (Estrella Galicia) completes the top ten.
The other Italians are in more difficulty with Andrea Migno who will start from 15th place, ahead of Celestino Vietti (Sky Racing Team VR46) and Lorenzo Dalla Porta (Leopard), the latter slowed down from the start of the session by technical problems.
The following did not pass the Q1 trap: Dennis Foggia (Sky Racing Team VR46), Riccardo Rossi (Gresini) and Stefano Nepa, who will start from 22nd, 28th and 30th position respectively.
