Moto3 | Austrian GP FP2: Vietti wins the round [VIDEO]
Antonelli does well in the ten, world championship leader Canet at risk of Q1
Moto3 GP Austria Red Bull Ring Free Practice 2 – Celestino Vietti wins the second free practice session of the Moto3 class Austrian Grand Prix, eleventh stage of the 2019 MotoGP.
The Sky Racing Team VR46 driver in FP2, which was more reminiscent of a qualifying session given the high probability of rain forecast for tomorrow, stopped the clock at 1:36.585, preceding John McPhee (Petronas) by just thirty-one thousandths and by 53 Tatsuki Suzuki (SIC58 Racing Team),
Fourth time for Ayumu Sasaki who finished ahead of the winner of the Brno GP, Tony Arbolino (Snipers) and Jaume Masia.
Niccolò Antonelli (SIC58 Squadra Corse) finished seventh, ahead of Ai Ogura and Dennis Foggia (Sky Racing Team VR46). Salac completes the top ten.
Far from the top Lorenzo Dalla Porta (Leopard), only 13th with a delay of more than eight tenths. Out of the 14th and therefore at risk of Q1: Romano Fenati (Snipers) and Andrea Migno, who finished in 16th and 17th position respectively.
World championship leader Aron Canet (Max Racing Team) finished outside the 14th and therefore risks having to compete in Q3 in case of rain in FP1.
