Moto3 | Australian GP FP2: Canet precedes Dalla Porta
Fourth time for Niccolò Antonelli
Moto3 Australian GP Phillip Island Free Practice 2 – The second free practice session of the Moto3 class Australian Grand Prix saw Aron Canet excel.
The Max Racing Team rider set the best lap with a time of 1:36.809, a time that allowed him to precede our Lorenzo Dalla Porta (Honda Leopard) by 0.281s, with the latter potentially winning the title already Sunday.
Third time for Albert Arenas (KTM Angel Nieto), followed by the Team SIC58 Squadra Corse riders Niccolò Antonelli and Tatsuki Suzuki.
Andrea Migno (KTM Mugen Race) is sixth and ahead of the Hondas of John McPhee (Team Petronas) and Romano Fenati (Team Snipers).
Closing out the Top Ten are Dennis Foggia (KTM Sky Racing Team VR46) and Gabriel Rodrigo (Honda Gresini).
Stefano Nepa (KTM Avintia) and Celestino Vietti (KTM Sky Racing Team VR46) occupied eleventh and twelfth place, while Tony Arbolino (Honda Snipers) finished 17th.
Riccardo Rossi (Honda Gresini) closed the session with the 19th fastest time.
