Moto2 Valencia, Qualifying: Alex De Angelis “Today went well”

In Valencia, due to the rain, the Moto2 riders only completed a few laps in qualifying and then returned to the pits. Alex De Angelis completed seven laps and recorded the fifth best time. The word is up to him.

“Even today we found difficult conditions but we still did well said Alex De Angelis – When we entered the track for qualifying it had already started to rain so we only completed seven laps, just enough time to record the fifth fastest time and return in the pits. Starting from the second row is very positive, Iannone is 25th and therefore he will be the one to attack. Tomorrow the tactics will change depending on the weather and personally I hope it doesn't rain because in the dry everything is calmer and easier to manage. I am reassured by the fact that I am fast on both wet and dry surfaces, we have found a good set up for both conditions. I want to have a good race considering that this will be my last on the MotoBI and I will give my all to conquer third position in the world championship and finish with a flourish. If this doesn't happen, we will still be satisfied with the beautiful 2011 season."
