Finn Mika Kallio leaves Jerez de la Frontera with the best time. The Marc VDS Racing Team rider was in fact the fastest on the third and final day of testing reserved for Moto2 and also the fastest of the three days.

The #36 in fact stopped the clock at a time of 1:42.169, a time of only 64 thousandths better than that set by team-mate Esteve “Tito” Rabat, who in turn precedes the Swiss Thomas Luthi by only 21 thousandths, in riding the Suter of Team Interwetten Paddock.

Fourth time for Takaaki Nakagami, rider of Idemitsu Honda Team Asia. The Japanese who lapped in 1:42.465 is ahead of the best of ours, the San Marino Alex de Angelis, riding the Suter of the Tasca Racing Moto2 Team. Excellent session therefore for the former Team Forward rider, who today placed Simone Corsi in tenth position and Mattia Pasini in seventeenth.

Lorenzo Baldassarri did very well, making a big leap forward by finishing the tests in eighth place, just over seven tenths from the top. The Team Gresini rider seems to have taken the "measures" to the new category and also managed to get behind team-mate Xavier Simeon.

Franco Morbidelli, on the Italtrans Racing Team's Kalex, closed in thirteenth place.
