Seventh Bulega, injury for Martin
The Pons Hp 40 team driver, Lorenzo Baldassarri achieved the best time of the day in the combined on the first day of testing on the Jerez circuit.
The “Balda” recorded his best time in 1.42.2013 and precedes Luca Marini (Sky Racing Team VR46) and Sam Lowes (Team Federal Oil Gresini).
Fourth position for Augusto Fernandez (Pons HP 40), ahead of Remy Gardner (SAG Team) and Marcel Schrotter (Dynavolt Intact GP).
Nicolò Bulega (Sky Racing Team VR46), making his debut in the intermediate category, is seventh, half a second behind today's fastest.
Closing out the top 10: Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM Ajo), Alex Marquez (Estrella Galicia Marc VDS) and Jorge Navarro (Speed Up Racing).
The other Italians are: 13th Andrea Locatelli (Italtrans Racing Team), 14th Simone Corsi (Tasca Racing), 18th Fabio Di Giannantonio (Speed Up Racing), 19th Enea Bastianini (Italtrans Racing Team), 22nd Stefano Manzi ( MV Agusta Forward Racing) and 26th Marco Bezzecchi (Red Bull KTM Tech 3).
The Red Bull KTM Ajo team rider, Jorge Martin, suffered a fall that caused him to fracture his right leg.
