Moto2, Irta Jerez Test Day 3: Pol Espargarò is the fastest in the morning session
First of the Italian drivers is Simone Corsi, eighth with the Speed Up of the NGM Mobile Racing Team
Polyccio Espargarò achieved the best time in the morning session of Day 3 in Jerez de la Frontera, the scene of the IRTA tests which will see the riders of the Moto2 and Moto3 classes busy until tomorrow. The Team Pons driver (in the photo), one of the favorites for the world title, stopped the clock at a time of 1:43.349, trailing the Kalex of Takaaki Nakagami, Team Italtrans driver, by just 97 thousandths.
Third time for Scott Redding, also on a Kalex but of the Marc VDS Racing Team. The British rider who lapped in 1:43.544 precedes the first Suter, that of the Spaniard Nico Terol who in turn is followed by his compatriot Esteve Rabat and the Finnish Mika Kallio, riding the second bike of the Marc VDS Racing Team. First of the Italian drivers is Simone Corsi, eighth with the Speed Up of Team NGM Mobile Racing. The Roman driver who has Julian Simon's Kalex in front has placed behind him the Swiss from Team Technomag carXpert, Dominique Aegerter and Jordi Torres, who closes the Top Ten with the second Suter from Team Aspar.
Eleventh is the Frenchman Johann Zarco, riding the Suter. The new driver of the IodaRacing Project is ahead of Axel Pons, Anthiny West and Mike di Meglio. Fifteenth time for Alex de Angelis, riding the second bike of the NGM Mobile Racing Team. The San Marino rider, who has a gap from the top of 1.352, is ahead of Toni Elias, the fastest on Day 1. Further back is Mattia Pasini, who is twenty-first on the third bike of Team NGM Mobile Racing.
