Moto2 – Team Gresini and Team LCR in doubt about participation

Fausto Gresini and Lucio Cecchinello are not so certain of participating in the next Moto2 championship, a class that will definitively replace the current quarter-liters next year. The Imola manager is encountering difficulties, especially after having long courted the new Supersport champion Cal Crutchlow who, however, in the end did not sign for the Team. His team's participation in Moto2 is in fact not as certain as it was a few weeks ago and there is also a budget problem.

“It is my intention to be in Moto2 – Gresini told MCN – but at the moment I have not set the budget and it is proving to be very difficult.”

Lucio Cecchinello, on the other hand, has completely abandoned the idea of ​​being present in Moto2 due to budget constraints. We remind you that both teams will still be present in MotoGP; Gresini with Simoncelli and Melandri and Cecchinello with Randy De Puniet.
