Moto2: Simone Corsi “A good race in Qatar”

The first Grand Prix of the 2014 world championship in the Moto2 class, held in Qatar, saw Simone Corsi, rider of Forward Racing, finish in fifth position. The Roman driver paid for a contact with Dominique Aegerter at the start of the race, which caused him to lose the lead of the leaders. The word is up to him.

“I'm quite satisfied, we had a good race even if on the first lap I collided with Aegerter and we both lost a bit of ground. We were penalized because the leaders went away, while we lost the pace without being able to close the gap. I could have done something more, but I collected the first points of the season and that's positive. I'm happy with the team and the new bike, we still have a lot of work to do, but we can fight for the podium every Sunday.”
