Moto2 Sachsenring, Warm Up: Espargarò ahead of Luthi
The Spaniard from Team Pons ahead of Luthi and Marquez, 4th time for Simone Corsi
Sun, 22 degrees in the air and 27 on the asphalt at the Sachsenring for the warm up of the Moto2 class. All thirty-four riders obviously took to the track with slick tires for the final adjustments before the race, which is today will start at 11.20am, this causes the world championship to coincide with Formula 1 which races at Silverstone.
The fastest at the end of the 20-minute session was Pol Espargarò, who stopped the clock at a time of 1:25.335. The Team Pons rider took first place right under the checkered flag from the Swiss Thomas Luthi, who in turn preceded the world championship leader Marc Marquez by just 25 thousandths.
Simone Corsi did well, fourth with the Ioda Racing FTR. The Roman rider preceded the San Marino Alex de Angelis, Claudio Corti, Mika Kallio and Andrea Iannone, riding the Speed Up of the Speed Master Team. Rounding out the Top Ten are Randy Krummenacher and Scott Redding. Twenty-fifth time for Roberto Rolfo who pays 1.443 from the top.
