Moto2 – Roby Rolfo in Valencia for the CEV

Roberto Rolfo will be at the start of the last race of the CEV (Spanish speed championship) riding his Moto2 MMX from the Swiss manufacturer Eskil Suter. The 2003 quarter-litre world vice-champion will therefore savor the taste of being in the race again after 3 and a half months of stopping. Here are his words as reported on his website.

“We're off for real… for the Spanish Championship race in Valencia (CEV) on Sunday 22 November! For me it's great news because I'll finally be able to get on my motorbike after three and a half months of stopping and savor the breeze of taking bends with the rear wheel drifting!
How nice, I can't wait! It's very important for me to be able to get back on the bike in a race because it will help me get back into the right rhythm as quickly as possible; usually the race gives you that little bit more that the tests don't give you, even if they are very useful for fine-tuning the bike.
Friday will certainly be one of the most important days to find the best feeling and set-up on my Moto2 MMX from the Swiss manufacturer Eskil Suter.
The bike is really beautiful and fun; these moto2 will be very fast next year because thanks to the very rigid frame they will have truly incredible cornering and top speeds that are unthinkable for a 600cc motorbike. thanks also to the low weight of these prototypes which will have an almost reversed weight-to-power ratio! There will be several Moto2s present in this latest Spanish championship and the battle will get interesting. It's a race but it will also be my first test in preparation for the 2010 Moto2 World Championship season. It will be a very busy winter, there will be many tests and the dates will be defined in these days. I'm very happy and I can't wait to spend a lot of time in the saddle to make up for the km I haven't done this year!”
