The debut of the 2012 Moto3 champion Sandro Cortese with the Kalex Moto2 will be somewhat delayed. The Italian-German should have made his debut at Albacete on November 14th and 15th with his new team, the Intact Gp, a new German team that will race in the intermediate category born from the collaboration between Stefan Keckeisen who produces the Intact batteries and Wolfgang Kuhn (owner of the construction company Kuhn Bau).

However, his Kalex is not ready and will be available a few days later, on 19 or 20 November. The track chosen for the debut remains Albacete, then the team will move to Portimao for the tests at the end of November. In this regard, here are the words of Jürgen Lingg (who will follow Cortese in his new adventure in Moto2), currently working for KTM with Zulfahmi Khairuddin. “When we returned from Australia we saw that the Kalex is still at 90% – said the technical chief as reported by Speedweek.de – That's why we need a few more days. We should be on track in Albacete on 19 and 20 November, while at the end of the month we will be in Portimao.”
