It's a special day for the Sky Racing Team VR46 with the presentation of the 2020 world championship. And there couldn't be a better setting than Valentino Rossi's ranch, in Tavullia to kick off the 2020 season. As for the intermediate class, everyone all eyes will be on the two talents of the VR46 Riders Academy, Luca Marini and Marco Bezzecchi.

Luca, last season achieved two victories and a podium and this year there will be many expectations on him. For "Bez" (the team's new entry, ed.) this could be the season of redemption after a difficult 2019.

Marco Bezzecchi: “It was a beautiful journey because when Uccio, Albi and all the guys from the Academy told me about this opportunity it was like a dream considering that I was also coming from a bit of a difficult moment. From the first test I found the serenity that I had been missing for a while and so I was very happy to get started. I can't wait to start what really matters, which is the season ahead of us. I don't know how to thank everyone."

Sky Motori director Guido Meda who presented the unveiling added: "Perhaps there is a way" and Marco replied: "Go fast".

2019 was a year where we saw all the facets of Bez: anger, disappointment, joy for some flashes of light but this year he will have a great opportunity to redeem himself in a familiar environment with a very fast teammate:

“The Tech3 team worked hard, they always tried to give me the best bike but unfortunately we struggled and despite this this splendid opportunity arose. My feeling? I have internal anger to vent because when you go fast everyone comes and when you go slow no one considers you. The bike is very different, it has great positive points and something where it can be improved. I'll keep the goal to myself for now. The relationship with Luca is going very well because he is very precise in the garage, it's nice to compete, we can both go fast."

Luca Marini: “This year there is certainly a great desire on everyone's part to do well, we must start strong straight away, try to stay focused, be consistent and do what we do best, which is to have fun. It's an ambitious project that will require everyone's commitment and for this reason I'm happy to share the garage with Marco."
