Moto2 Mugello, Free Practice 2: Krummenacher gives a smile to Iodaracing
The Swiss finishes in command ahead of Zarco and Kallio. Pasini is sixth.
The second free practice session of the Moto2 class at Mugello saw the riders ride in the wet. In these conditions and with rain tires the fastest was Randy Krummenacher, who thus gives a smile to Iodaracing and its Team Owner Giampiero Sacchi, who will not be able to field the injured Danilo Petrucci in MotoGP and who has had a fairly good start to the season troubled.
The Swiss driver drove his Suter really well, stopping the clock at a time of 2:09.070 and placing himself 110 thousandths behind the Frenchman Johann Zarco, former driver of the Terni team who achieved the podium here last year.
He is followed by the Finn Mika Kallio, the Japanese Nagashima, the Swiss Thomas Luthi and our Mattia Pasini, riding the Forward Racing Kalex.
The Top Ten is closed by Sam Lowes, Anthony West, Axel Pons and Franco Morbidelli, one of the Italian riders who is part of Valentino Rossi's VR46 Academy.
