Moto2: Marc Marquez “We did a good job during the tests but in Qatar it will be tough”

The team Marc Marquez will race for was officially presented today in Barcelona. The rider from Cervera (Lleida) will still be riding the Suter with the Repsol colours. For him (2010 125cc world champion and 2 Moto2011 vice-champion) it is his fifth year in GP. The word is up to him.

“I missed a big part of the pre-season and obviously I still have a few more kilometers left for the opening race. However, being able to participate in the last pre-season test in Jerez with 100% vision was very important. We did a good job during testing, I found my confidence with the bike again and it was good practice for the whole team. Now we just have to see what happens in Qatar. We are not entirely ready, because some of our rivals are still a step ahead, but that just means that the first races we will have to concentrate on our work and be patient. Then we'll see if we can get back to the top like last season. One of our goals for this year is to fight for the Moto2 title and we will give everything we have to achieve this goal, even if I prefer to think race after race and not think too much about the championship.”
