After the episode of Misano, in which the team driver found himself unwillingly involved Forward Racing, Stefano manzi, granted an interview to Sport Mediaset, in which he reviewed what happened with Roman Fenati during the Misano Grand Prix.

Despite his (rightly understandable) anger, Manzi doesn't think that the man from Ascoli wanted to hurt him:

“He didn't want to do it maliciously, it's a bad gesture but he didn't start with this intent. The only thing I don't agree with is the provocation: it's absolutely not the doorbells that provoke. In the end it was just a joke, if things got complicated I could be scared".

Ironically, the two riders were supposed to race for the same team next year, with MV Agusta:

“Until Misano, Romano and I had never had anything, there had never been any contact or arguments, so it would have been the future”.

The issue of 20 bars is sparking a lot of debate on social media; in fact, according to some, such high pressure would have caused more serious damage:

“Believe it or not it's true, in fact the data was seen by the Race Direction. It's more than double that of normal braking, on some tracks you can even apply 12 bars of braking, but 20 for a front brake is a lot".

Over time, the Rimini native said he was willing to forgive Fenati for the gesture:

“Time after time, let's let things cool down. I didn't sue and I didn't even qualify for this thing, I stayed in mine. I'd like to put a stop to it and move on.".
