Moto2 Indianapolis: Tito Rabat is the fastest, Morbidelli is eighth
The reigning champion preceded Lowes and Nakagami
Moto2 2015 Red Bull Indianapolis Grand Prix FP2 – Reigning champion Tito Rabat was fastest in the second free practice session of the Moto2 class at IMS, Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
The Spanish rider stopped the clock at a time of 1:36.967, a time that allowed him to beat Sam Lowes, riding the Speed Up, by 0.328s.
Third time for the Japanese Takaaki Nakagami, ahead of Alex Rins, the fastest in FP1. World championship leader Johann Zarco is fifth and ahead of Mika Kallio and Jonas Folger.
Franco Morbidelli, the only Italian on the track, is eighth, the same position he occupied in the morning session. Simone Corsi and Lorenzo Baldassarri, riders of Forward Racing, are "forced" absent and will return to the track next week in Brno after the judicial arrest of their owner Giovanni Cuzari.
