The Spanish driver who lapped in 1:54.860 placed behind the Kalex of the British Scott Redding and the tech 3 of the rookie Danny Kent.

The new Ioda Racing driver Johann Zarco also did well. The Frenchman in fact achieved the fourth time with a time of 1:55.287 aboard his Suter. Behind Zarco we find the first Speed ​​Up, that of the Spaniard Ricky Cardus.
