Moto2 | United States GP FP2: Oliveira's dominance continues
Among the top ten Italians only Pasini, who seems to have solved the problems he had in the first round
Moto2 GP United States Free Practice 2 – Compared to the first free practice session, in the second free practice session of Moto2 the track conditions improved considerably and the riders were finally able to start pushing.
Although the conditions have changed significantly compared to FP1, in the American afternoon it was still Miguel Oliveira who recorded the best performance. The Portuguese rider preceded Sam Lowes and Alex Marquez.
Brad Binder precedes team rookie Marc VdS, Joan Mir, and Isaac Vinales. Iker Lacuona finished with the seventh fastest time, keeping behind him the returnee of the category, Hector Barberà, half a second off the top.
After problems in the first free practice session, Mattia Pasini (ItalTrans) managed to close FP2 with the ninth fastest time. Jorge Navarro completes the top ten.
Romano Fenati was just a whisker away from the top ten and finished eleventh, ahead of: Francesco Bagnaia (Sky Racing Team VR46), Lorenzo Baldassrri (Hp Pons) and Simone Corsi (Tasca Racing).
Luca Marini (Sky Racing Team VR46) recorded the 16th performance, while Andrea Locatelli (ItalTrans), the 21st.
Stefano Manzi (Forward) finishes 27th, while Federico Fuligni is 32nd.
