Moto2 | Malaysian GP Warm Up: Marini mocks Fernandez and Marquez
Bulega is well in the top ten, the other Italians far away
Moto2 GP Malaysia Sepang Warm Up – Luca Marini wins the Warm Up of the Moto2 class Malaysian Grand Prix, penultimate stage of the 2019 MotoGP world championship.
The Sky Racing Team VR46 driver stopped the time at 2:05.904, preceding Augusto Fernandez (FlexBox HP16) by just 40 thousandths and the poleman and world championship leader Alex Marquez (Marc VdS) by 22 thousandths.
Fourth time for Tetsuta Nagashima ahead of Marcel Schrotter, Brad Binder (KTM Ajo) and Nicolò Bulega (Sky Racing Team VR46). Xavi Vierge (Marc VdS) is eighth and finishes ahead of Jorge Navarro (Speed Up). Somkiat Chantra completes the top ten.
Outside the ten by a few thousandths Lorenzo Baldassarri (FlexBox HP40) finishes 11th ahead of Marco Bezzecchi (Tech3), 12th, Stefano Manzi (MV Agusta Forward), 19th, and Enea Bastianini (ItalTrans), 22nd. The other Italians were further behind with Mattia Pasini (Tasca Racing) only 24th and Andrea Locatelli (ItalTrans) 25th.
