The Flexbox HP 40 team driver, Lorenzo Baldassarri, concluded the first day of free practice for the French GP with a satisfying third time. The unknown for the rest of the weekend will be rain, but Lorenzo said he is confident:

"The first day at Le Mans went well, we were able to drive in the dry and set a competitive time. We did a good job with the bike and it was important to ride for most of the day as the rain is likely to arrive. So we have a good base to face Sunday's race, we are ready. We still have to work on the wear of the rear tire to know which compound to use. Even if it rains, we will give our best as always."
