Moto2 | Gp Jerez FP2: Schrotter ahead of Marquez

Moto2 Spanish GP Free Practice 2 – Marcel Schrotter set the best time in the second free practice session of the Moto2 class Spanish Grand Prix, a race scheduled for Sunday on the Andalusian track of Jerez de la Frontera.

The Team Dynavolt Intact GP rider took his Kalex ahead of everyone with a time of 1:42.233, just 11 thousandths ahead of the home rider Alex Marquez, who was in turn ahead of his compatriot Jorge Navarro, the fastest of the session morning.

Fourth time for Augusto Fernandez (Team Pons), followed by the Japanese Tetsuta Nagashima (SAG Team), the Dutch Bo Bendsneyder (NTS RW Racing) and the Swiss Thomas Luthi (Dynavolt Intact GP).

The best of the Italian riders is the rookie Fabio Di Giannantonio, eighth and ahead of Sam Lowes (Team Gresini) and Remy Gardner (SAG Team), who closes the Top Ten.

Luca Marini (Sky Racing Team VR46) set the eleventh time, while Lorenzo Baldassarri, Nicolò Bulega, Simone Corsi and rookie Enea Bastianini occupied thirteenth, fourteenth, fifteenth and sixteenth place respectively.

Andrea Locatelli finished twelfth, ahead of Marco Bezzecchi, while Stefano Manzi with MV Agusta was twenty-fourth.
