Moto2 | Indonesian GP Practice 1: Gonzalez precedes Canet
The best of the Italians is Foggia, ninth ahead of Arbolino
Moto2 GP Indonesia Practice 1 – Manuel Gonzalez achieved the best time in the first practice session of the Indonesian Grand Prix, 15th stage of the Moto2 class, scheduled in Mandalika.
The Yamaha VR46 team rider recorded his best time in 1:34.871, ahead of Aron Canet (Pons Los40) and Jake Dixon (GASGAS). Fourth was Sam Lowes (Marc VDS), ahead of the Idemitsu Honda Team Asia riders, Ai Ogura and Somkiat Chantra.
Seventh is the Red Bull KTM Ajo team rider, Albert Arenas, ahead of Fermin Aldeguer (Beta Tools Speed Up).
Closing out the TOP 10 times: Dennis Foggia (Italtrans Racing Team) and Tony Arbolino (Marc VDS). Of note is the fall of Pedro Acosta, fortunately without consequences for the Red Bull KTM team rider.
The other Italians: Alberto Surra 21st and Lorenzo Baldassarri who replaces the injured Celestino Vietti, is 26th.
