Moto2 GP India Qualifying – Jake Dixon took Pole Position at the Indian Grand Prix. The GASGAS team driver outwitted Pedro Acosta who had the first position in his grasp, right on the stroke of the checkered flag, recording his best lap in 2:01.924. Second Acosta (Red Bull KTM Ajo), ahead of Sergio Garcia (Pons Los40).

Fourth was Zonta VD Goorbergh (Fieten Olie Racing GP), ahead of Darryn Binder (Intact GP) and Alonso Lopez (GT Trevisan SpeedUp).

The best of the Italians is Tony Arbolino (Marc VDS Racing Team), seventh, ahead of Joe Roberts (Italtrans Racing Team). Closing the TOP 10: Somkiat Chantra (Honda Team Asia) and Celestino Vietti (Fantic Racing). Dennis Foggia (Italtrans) finished 18th.
