Five Italians in the Top Ten of the Moto2 warm up in Barcelona
Moto2 GP Catalunya Warm Up – The warm up of the Moto2 class in Barcelona (stage of the Catalunya Grand Prix, seventh stage of the 2019 MotoGP) saw Alex Marquez excel.
The Team Marc VDS driver took the lead with his Kalex with a time of 1:43.764, a time that allowed him to beat the Swiss Team Dynavolt Intact GP Thomas Luthi by 0.210s.
Third time for Augusto Fernandez (Team Pons), followed by Jorge Navarro's Speed Up. From sixth to tenth position we find five Italians, in order: Enea Bastianini (Team Italtrans), Fabio Di Giannantonio (Speed Up), Lorenzo Baldassarri (Team Pons), Andrea Locatelli (Team Italtrans) and Luca Marini (Sky Racing Team VR46) .
Nicolò Bulega (Sky Racing Team VR46) set the twelfth time while Stefano Manzi (MV Agusta) and Simone Corsi (Tasca Racing) occupied the twentieth and twenty-first positions respectively. Marco Bezzecchi's difficulties continue, thirtieth on the KTM of Team Red Bull Tech 3.
