Moto2 | GP Barcelona Qualifying: Bulega, “I didn't expect this step forward”

Good performance for the Sky Racing Team VR46 driver, Nicolò Bulega, who concluded qualifying for the Barcelona GP with the eighth fastest time. Luca Marini is more in difficulty and will have to recover from thirteenth position.

Nicolò Bulega: “I'm happy with qualifying especially because, after FP3 this morning, I didn't expect this important step forward with the rise in temperature. In the last sector I struggle a bit, but we can have fun and do well. The objective before the race is to improve the T4 with used tyres".

Luca Marini: “After free practice, I expected more from this qualifying. We were always among the first throughout the weekend and this P13 is really strange. We need to analyze the data and understand exactly what happened and why, compared to the others, I was unable to improve my FP3 time also considering that the track conditions were good. We need a great start: it will be a comeback race."
