Moto2 | Barcelona GP Race: Bastianini, “I'm very happy!”
Locatelli: "It didn't go as I expected"
Excellent performance for the Italtrans Racing team driver, Enea Bastianini, who with fifth place in the Barcelona Grand Prix, once again confirms himself as the best rookie at the finish line. Difficult race, conditioned by a bad start for Andrea Locatelli, who ended in twelfth position.
Aeneas Bastianini: “What a race! I'm very happy! I started well and attacked straight away, remaining in the leading group. I pushed to stay with Fernandez and Navarro, but about ten laps from the flag I felt that the front tires were now at their end and I preferred to settle for 5th position".
Andrea Locatelli: “After a weekend of improvement, today's race didn't go as I expected. I wasn't able to get a good start and this penalized my performance. It's a shame because I could have fought for the top positions and recovering from behind is difficult. I continue to work because we have had some positive feedback."
