Moto2 | GP Misano Qualifying: Vietti on pole, Arbolino is fifth
Sixth and tenth time for Dalla Porta and Pasini
Moto2 GP Misano Qualifying – Celestino Vietti won the pole of the San Marino Grand Prix and the Rimini Riviera, the scene of the fourteenth stage of the 2022 Moto2 world championship.
Thanks to a time of 46:1, the Mooney VR35.996 Racing Team driver achieved his third pole of the season, preceding Albert Arenas (Aspar) by just 101 thousandths and Alonso Lopez (SpeedUp) by 190s.
Aron Canet (Flexbox HP40) opens the second row ahead of our Tony Arbolino (Marc VdS) and Lorenzo Dalla Porta (Italtrans), who passed through the Q1 trap.
Fermin Aldeguar (SpeedUp) will start from seventh place ahead of Ai Ogura (Team Asia) and Augusto Fernandez (KTM Ajo). Mattia Pasini (Aspar) completes the top ten.
The other Italians did not pass the Q1 trap. Alessandro Zaccone will start from 22nd place ahead of Niccolò Antonelli (Mooney VR46 Racing Team). Simone Corsi (Mv Agusta Forward) was delayed and will start 30th.
