Moto2: Federico Caricasulo in place of the injured Franco Morbidelli

Will Federico Caricasulo (19 years old, Italian SuperSport Champion in 2014 and currently racing in the European Superstock 600 Championship with Team Pata-Honda, where he is second in the general classification) to replace the injured Franco Morbidelli aboard the Kalex of Team Italtrans. It will do so for the "forced" period of downtime of the VR46 Academy rider, who we remember last August 18th suffered a fracture of the tibia and fibula in his right leg while training with a cross motorbike. A great opportunity for Caricasulo, here are the words of the Team Manager in this regard Luigi Pansera.

“We are following Franco's post-operative course and rehabilitation with affection and participation, which we hope will be as short as possible. We are waiting for him to continue the interrupted path with maximum commitment. While he recovers, we have decided to offer a very young Italian the opportunity to become familiar with the paddock and the air of the MotoGP. We are convinced that it will prove to be a very useful experience for him; we hope it can help him become what we know he wants to be: a professional driver.”
