Moto2 and Moto3 | IRTA Portimao Day 1 test: Canet and Masia the fastest

IRTA Portimao Moto2 and Moto3 tests – Aron Canet in Moto2 and Jaume Masia in Moto3 were the fastest riders on the first day of IRTA testing in Portimao.

Masia was the fastest in Moto3 with a time of 1'48.416, a time obtained in the third session of Day 1. The Team Leopard rider brought his Honda ahead of three other bikes from the Japanese manufacturer, those of Romano Fenati (Snipers ), Tatsuki Suzuki (Leopard) and Riccardo Rossi (SIC58 Squadra Corse).

Followed by Daniel Holgado's KTM, Joel Kelso's PruestelGP CFMoto and Ayumu Sasaki's Team Intact Husqvarna. Also in the Top Ten are Scott Odgen with Honda, Diogo Moreira with the KTM of Team MT Helmets – MSI and Ivan Ortolà, with the KTM of Team MTA.

Rookie Filippo Farioli on the KTM of Team Red Bull Tech3 is 15th, ahead of the Honda of compatriot Matteo Bertelle. Stefano Nepa with the KTM of Team MTA is 25th.

IRTA Portimao Moto2 Day 1 test

In the Moto2 class the fastest was the Spaniard Aron Canet (Pons), who preceded the Red Bull KTM riders, Pedro Acosta and Albert Arenas. Fourth time for Sam Lowes (Marc VDS), followed by Bo Bendsneyder (SAG) and Barry Baltus (Racing GP).
