Dutch GP Moto2 Free Practice 2 - And of Thomas luthi the best lap of the first day of Moto2 free practice in Assen. The Swiss closed the two sessions with a time of 1:37.962, beating the Japanese by just two thousandths Nakagami. As per tradition, balance reigns in the middle class of the world championship: in a round characterized by "illustrious falls", including Alex Rins and Alex Marquez, the first 15 riders are within a second of the top.

The scene of the fall of Marc Marquez's little brother is curious: slipped, he rushed to pick up the upper part of the fairings of his motorbike and took them into the garage himself.

Third time goes to Sam Lowes, 3 tenths behind the Swiss, then we find Alex Marquez, the first of the Italians Franco Morbidelli 5th at 4 tenths, 6th Zarco, 7th fastest time for the other Italian Lorenzo Baldassarri who however obtained his best lap in the morning session, finishing almost 7 tenths from the top and ahead of Cortese and Rins, the last to enter the top 10.

The other Italians: 11th time for Simone Corsi, 7 tenths behind Luthi, 19th and 20th for the two from Romagna, Luca Marini and Mattia Pasini, almost 1.5 seconds from the top.
