Dutch GP Moto2 Qualifying Baldassarri accident – Terrible accident for Lorenzo Baldassarri. The Forward team rider, during the Moto2 qualifying round, was the victim of a bad high side at turn 15 which is traveled at around 200km/h. So much fear for the condition of the pilot, who lost consciousness in the accident and forced the organizers to display the red flag.

Fortunately, emergency services arrived practically immediately and immediately reassured everyone by communicating that the pilot was conscious. After being stabilized, the pilot was taken to the medical center for checks and then transported to Groningen hospital.

From what emerged it seems that the pilot suffered "only" a head injury, but the CT scan in the next few hours will serve to rule out further damage.

These are the words of the Doctor of the mobile clinic Michael Zasa: “Lorenzo lost consciousness during the fall and suffered a head injury, he was quickly helped and regained consciousness. It appears the only problem was head trauma. He arrived here conscious and did not remember the fall. He was taken to the hospital where a CT scan will be done. He will have to be under observation until tomorrow. The fall was bad but it went much better than it looked on TV, but we have to wait for the CT scan to rule out other damage. There don't seem to be any other big things, at first glance there seems to have been nothing serious other than the head trauma."
