GP Argentina Moto2 Race– Second stage of the Moto2 world championship on the Termas de Rio Hondo circuit for the Argentine GP.

Franco Morbidelli wins the Argentine Grand Prix, second consecutive victory, the first time in the history of Moto2 for an Italian. The Marc VdS team driver managed the final stages of the race impeccably. In second place is Miguel Oliveira (KTM Ajo)followed Thomas Luthi (CarXpert Interwetten) , followed. Lorenzo Baldassarri (Forward) closes in fourth place, followed by Xavi Verge (Tech3) and Simone Corsi (SpeedUp). Excellent seventh position for Francis Bagnaia (Sky Racing Team) with Sandro Cortese and behind Brad Binder (KTM Ajo). Complete the top ten Hafiz Syahrin (Petronas Raceline Malaysia)

Luca Marini (Forward) finishes twelfth, while Mattia Pasini, after falling in the first laps while third, finishes in twentieth position. Stefano Manzi (Sky Racing Team) finishes 23rd, while, alex bassani (SpeedUp) finishes 25th. Andrea Locatelli (ItalTrans) took to the track despite his poor physical shape, but after 2 laps he returned to the garage.

Oliveira starts well from pole, but Morbidelli turns first into turn 2. His teammate, Alex Marquez, catches up behind the Italian.

On the second lap Mattia Pasini, who started sixth, manages to reach third position, but slips. Accident without consequences for the ItalTrans driver who manages to restart obviously delayed.

In the meantime, the Marc VdS pair makes a gap, moving almost 2 seconds behind the first pursuer, Miguel Oliveira, in just 2 laps. With 20 laps to go Morbidelli tries to break away, taking half a second from Marquez.

In the meantime, Baldassarri, who started tenth, reaches up to fifth position; Mari also did well, recovering up to ninth position, but with 14 laps to go he was passed by Corsi and Bagnaia. From sixth to 17th position, they fight incessantly to move forward.

With 10 laps to go the top three positions remain unchanged, but Marquez begins to recover from Franco. But the Italian doesn't give up and tries to always keep his teammate at the same distance.

With 7 laps to go the challenge for the seventh position also begins, rookie Binder also joins the party and recovers from 24th position.

With 5 laps to go Marquez increases the pressure on Morbido. With two laps to go the challenge heats up, Alex tries to overtake, but the Italian responds immediately. Even at the rear they battle with Bagnaia who recovers up to sixth position.

Heart-pounding last lap, but the soft rider doesn't give up and manages to put a couple of tenths between himself and his pursuer. Then the catastrophe of Marquez who falls a few corners from the finish line, an accident without consequences. Franco Morbidelli wins the race followed by Oliveira and Luthi
