Moto2: Alex de Angelis at Misano instead of Marcel Schrötter
The San Marino rider will be riding the Suter of Team Dynavolt Intact GP
Moto2 Misano – Alex de Angelis, after taking part in the British GP, will also be on track in his home race in Misano. The San Marino rider will replace Marcel Schrötter of Team Dynavolt Intact GP, struggling with a scaphoid fracture aboard the Suter, a bike with which he already competed in 2014. He has the say.
“I was really happy to receive the call from Intact GP to be part of this incredible team in my home Grand Prix and especially in my favorite class, Moto2. Obviously I will do my best to give some advice to the team and Suter for the development of the bike. Of course we don't have a set goal because it won't be very easy to get a good position without the possibility of testing the bike before the race weekend – said Alex De Angelis #15 – It will be my second Moto2 race in a row so I will try to go again better than the race in England which was still positive given the three years of absence from the category. This is an excellent opportunity to meet all my fans and sponsors and return to Misano, one of my favorite tracks. I also hope that this participation will help me find a good solution for the future. My big thanks go to the Intact GP team for giving me these opportunities. Today marks the seventh anniversary of Shōya Tomizawa's passing, I dedicate a special thought to him and his family."
