Moto2 British GP Race – Fermin Aldeguer won the British Grand Prix in the Moto2 class, the ninth stage of the MotoGP championship scheduled for Silverstone.

This is the first career success for the SpeedUp driver, a success that came after a qualifying that saw him start from second place on the grid. Once the rider of Luca Boscoscuro's team took command of the race, he repelled the attacks (from a chronometric point of view, ed.) brought by Aron Canet (Pons), second at the finish line.

On the third step of the podium was Pedro Acosta (Red Bull Ajo), who, thanks to the lackluster race of our Tony Arbolino (Marc VDS), who finished tenth, is the new leader of the world championship, with a 2 point advantage over the driver of Garbagnate Milanese.

Fourth at the finish line was Joe Roberts, with the Team Italtrans driver ahead of Manuel Gonzalez (VR46 MasterCamp), Barry Baltus (Racing GP), Sam Lowes (Marc VDS) and Ai Ogura (Team Asia).

Closing out the Top Ten are Somkiat Chantra (Team Asia) and as mentioned, Tony Arbolino. Also scoring points were Jeremy Alcoba (Gresini), Celestino Vietti (Fantic Racing), Filip Salac (Gresini), Albert Arenas (Red Bull Ajo) and Darryn Binder (Intact GP).

Dennis Foggia (Italtrans) was immediately out, involved immediately after the start in a crash which also saw Rory Skinner, Taiga Hada and Borja Gomez as unfortunate protagonists.
