Moto2 GP Misano Qualifying – Celestino Vietti (Fantic Racing) obtained the pole position of the San Marino and Riviera di Rimini Grand Prix, 12th stage of the Moto2 class, scheduled in Misano.

The Fantic Racing rider, also the fastest in the morning session, makes his second pole start of the season, his fifth in Moto2 and sixth in his career.

The #13 who set the best lap with a time of 1:36.201, will share the front row with the world championship leader Pedro Acosta (Red Bull Ajo) and Manuel Gonzalez (VR46 MasterCamp).

Fourth time for Aron Canet, who preceded a great Mattia Pasini, fifth despite a crash. The #34 (the legendary Kevin Schwantz signed the tank of his bike) "stopped" just 0.283s from pole and will try to be the protagonist tomorrow. Alonso Lopez follows him, with the only SpeedUp in Q2.

Tony Arbolino (Marc VDS), 22 points behind Acosta in the Championship, is on the third row, ninth fastest, behind Joe Roberts (Italtrans) and team-mate Sam Lowes.

Among others, our Dennis Foggia and Alberto Surra did not pass the trap of Q1. The Team Italtrans driver had recorded the 23rd time, but the place will be occupied by Alberto Surra (Forward), given the three-place penalty inflicted on the Roman driver for irresponsible driving on Day 1.
