Moto2 Dutch GP Assen Qualifying – The pole position of the Moto2 class Dutch Grand Prix went to Alonso Lopez, who outwitted Jake Dixon right under the checkered flag.

On the historic Assen track the SpeedUp driver dropped to 1:36.247, a time that allowed him to beat the Team Aspar driver, one of the protagonists of this weekend, by just 9 thousandths. For Lopez, third pole in Moto2 and seventh front row, a row where there is also a rediscovered Ai Ogura (Team Asia), who in FP3 had set a faster time than the pole, 1:36.000.

Fermin Aldeguer with the second Boscoscuro of Team SpeedUp is fourth and will share the second row with Sam Lowes (Marc VDS) and Pedro Acosta (Red Bull Ajo). The Sachsenring winner is 0.313s from the top.

Seventh time and third row for Somkiat Chantra (Team Asia) who preceded Albert Arenas (Red Bull Ajo) and our Celestino Vietti (Fantic Racing), who passed through Q1 and then crashed without consequences in the final stages of Q2.

Difficult qualifying for Championship leader Tony Arbolino, who finished tenth, almost half a second from the top. The Team Marc VDS driver loses a lot in T3 and T4 and will have to solve these problems for tomorrow if he wants to be in the "game".

Only 25th Dennis Foggia with the Team Italtrans rookie who has not yet taken the "measures" to the intermediate category of the MotoGP.
