Moto2 British GP Free Practice 2 – Augusto Fernandez scored the best performance of the second free practice session of the Moto2 class at Silverstone, the track where the 12th stage of the 2022 MotoGP championship is scheduled for Sunday.

The Team Red Bull Ajo driver set the best lap with a time of 2:04.573, a time that allowed him to beat home hero Jake Dixon (Aspar) by 0.187s.

Third time for Alonso Lopez's Speed ​​Up, followed by our Tony Arbolino (Marc VDS), Albert Arenas (Aspar), Filip Salac (Gresini) and Ai Ogura (Team Asia).

Closing out the Top Ten are the American Cameron Beaubier (American Racing), our Celestino Vietti (Mooney VR46 Racing Team) and Marcel Schrotter (Intact GP).

Bo Bendsneyder (SAG), Joe Roberts (Italtrans), Aron Canet (Pons) and Fermin Aldeguer (Speed ​​Up) also qualified for the provisional Q2.

Alessandro Zaccone (Gresini) finished 19th, Niccolò Antonelli (Mooney VR46 Racing Team) 21st, Simone Corsi (MV Agusta Forward) 22nd and Lorenzo Dalla Porta (Italtrans) 23rd.
