Moto2 | Indonesian GP FP2: Dixon mocks everyone at the end, Vietti excellent second
After an incredible FP1, Lowes finishes third, Arbolino does well in the top ten
Moto2 GP Indonesia Mandalika Free Practice 2 – Jake Dixon was the fastest in the second free practice session of the Moto2 class Indonesian Grand Prix, second stage of the 2022 MotoGP world championship.
In the final minutes, the Team GASGAS driver set the best performance with a time of 1:35.897, achieved in the 15th of the 16 laps made.
Behind him, 0.431s behind, Celestino Vietti, riding the Kalex of the Mooney VR46 Racing Team and Sam Lowes (Marc VdS), best rider in FP1 and also in the second round for a long time.
Pedro Acosta (KTM Ajo) finished fourth fastest ahead of Augusto Fernandez (KTM Ajo) (GASGAS) and Fermin Aldeguer (Speedup).
Seventh time for Albert Arenas who precedes our Tony Arbolino (Marc VdS) and Aron Canet (FlexBox HP40). Manuel Gonzalez (Yamaha VR46 Master Campi) completes the top ten.
Romano Fenati (SpeedUp) momentarily manages, thanks to the 14th time, to gain direct access to Q2, while the other Italians close further away: Simone Corsi (MV Agusta Forward) 17th, Lorenzo Dalla Porta (ItalTrans) 25th, Alessandro Zaccone ( Gresini) 28th and Niccolò Antonelli (Mooney VR46 Racing Team) 29th.
