Moto2 | Austrian GP FP2: Chantra the fastest, Arbolino is fourth
Team Asia double, Chantra precedes Ogura
Moto2 GP Austria Free Practice 2 – Honda Team Asia double in the second free practice session of the Moto2 class Austrian Grand Prix, scheduled at the Red Bull Ring.
The best performance went to Somkiat Chantra with a time of 1:34.553, with team-mate Ai Ogura just 55 thousandths behind him.
Championship leader Augusto Fernandez (Red Bull Ajo) is third, ahead of our Tony Arbolino (Marc VDS) and Alonso Lopez (Speed Up).
Cameron Beaubier (American Racing) is sixth, ahead of Fermin Aldeguer (Speed Up), Filip Salac (Gresini), Jorge Navarro (Pons) and Lorenzo Dalla Porta (Italtrans) who closes the Top Ten.
Team Aspar drivers Jake Dixon (fastest in FP2) and Albert Arenas, Joe Roberts (Italtrans) and Bo Bendsneyder (SAG Team) also qualified for provisional Q1.
Celestino Vietti (Mooney VR46 Racing Team) is 15th, Alessandro Zaccone (Gresini) 22nd, Niccolò Antonelli (Mooney VR46 Racing Team) 23rd and Simone Corsi (MV Agusta Forward) 27th.
