Moto2 | GP Misano 2 FP1: Augusto Fernandez is the fastest, Bulega second

Moto2 GP Misano GP Nolan of Made in Italy and Emilia-Romagna Free Practice 1 – Wet track also for the Moto2 class riders in the first free practice session of the Made in Italy and Emilia-Romagna, 16th stage of the Moto2 class MotoXNUMX World Championship, scheduled at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.

The fastest was Augusto Fernandez who stopped the clock on the Kalex of the Marc VDS Racing Team with a time of 1:48.322.

Behind him a revived Nicolò Bulega, who we remember will race with Ducati in the Supersport category next year. The Team Gresini driver, 0.219 off the top, precedes Joe Roberts (American Racing) and his compatriots and rookies Tony Arbolino (Intact GP) and Celestino Vietti (Sky Racing Team VR46).

Seventh time for Marco Bezzecchi (Sky Racing Team VR46), preceded by Hector Garzo (Pons) and ahead of Barry Baltus (NTS).

Closing out the Top Ten are Marcel Schrotter (Intact GP) and Raul Fernandez (second in the championship, 9 points behind team-mate Remy Gardner, 16th this morning).

Good debut for Mattia Casadei, 15th with the Kalex of Team Italtrans; the other Italian riders are: Fabio Di Giannantonio (Gresini) 21st, Lorenzo Baldassarri (MV Agusta Forward) 23rd, Simone Corsi (MV Agusta Forward) 26th, Stefano Manzi (Pons) 27th and Tommaso Marcon (NTS) 30th.

A tightrope walk at the end of the session for Bo Bendsneyder, who lost control of his Kalex and "fell" and managed to stay on his "knees" while holding on to the handlebars (video below).
