MotoGP 2020 Coronavirus – The first case of Coronavirus seems to have also arrived in the MotoGP. As reported by AS.com, Jorge Martin tested positive for Covid-19.
As already happened in Formula 1 with Sergio Perez, the Red Bull Ajo Team rider, third in the Moto2 world championship, will be forced to miss the first race in Misano and will only be able to return to the track once he tests negative.
The positivity, again as reported by AS, occurred a few days ago and the #88 could therefore return for the second race at Misano, scheduled for September 20th.
The official news could arrive today, given the classic pre-race press conference on Thursday. A bad blow for Martin, who as mentioned will lose ground in the world rankings.
